How a Saudi booking works

Four steps from first email to event/shoot day. Lead times include freight from Dubai and GEA / Civil Defence paperwork through the venue.

  1. Brief

    Day 0

You send the venue, dates, and event/shoot type. We respond within 24h with availability, fit, and a feasibility note specific to the city and venue.

  2. Recce + paperwork

    Week 1–2

Site visit by our safety officer (or floor-plan review for distant sites). Regulator-ready safety packet delivered to the venue's GEA / Civil Defence handler.

  3. Mobilize

    Week 2–3

Road haul from Dubai (Salwa border for Riyadh / Eastern Province; longer for Jeddah and AlUla). Crane, sphere, and crew on site. Pre-event rehearsal.

  4. Show day

    Event day

Performance windows synced to your event flow. Strike same-day or next, depending on venue access. Multi-week Season residencies stay on site.

Saudi-specific FAQ

Which Saudi cities and venues do you cover?

Riyadh (Boulevard, Diriyah, KAFD, Banban / Soundstorm grounds), Jeddah (Superdome, Corniche outdoor sites), AlUla (Old Town, Maraya-area outdoor activations), Diriyah Season grounds, and bespoke desert builds across the country. Other cities on request.

What's the lead time for a Saudi booking?

3–4 weeks typical for Riyadh / Jeddah from first brief — covers freight from Dubai, GEA / Civil Defence paperwork through the venue, recce, and crew staging. AlUla and remote sites add 1–2 weeks for road travel and ground prep. Riyadh Season slots typically lock 8+ weeks ahead.

Do you handle GEA / General Entertainment Authority approvals?

We provide the safety documentation, structural calc sheets, insurance certificate, and risk assessment in regulator-ready format. The venue or event organizer submits to GEA / Civil Defence as part of their existing event-clearance process; we attend pre-event meetings if requested.

Can you support Riyadh Season activations?

Yes. We plan crew availability around the Riyadh Season window each year and have specced for Boulevard, Diriyah, and Banban-area sites. Long Season runs (multi-week) can be priced as a residency rather than per-event.

Can you ship the rig to Saudi Arabia, or does it travel by road?

Both options. Road haul from Dubai via the Salwa or Saudi border crossing is the default for Riyadh and Eastern Province. For Jeddah and AlUla we typically combine road haul with internal Saudi road transport. The choice affects timeline and cost — we propose the right one in the feasibility note.
